Only in Pacific Design Center there is more than 130 interior design showrooms and over 2200 lines presented. In addition to blue building now the red one is being added to the building complex meaning more designers, more collections and showrooms. There is never enough time to visit them all but I think I have done pretty well to overview and get an understanding of the each showroom style and carried line of products. In addition to that, thanks to todays technology now it is possible to follow most of these showrooms updated collections and news online through their websites as well as their blogs.I must say it is a tremendous enjoy for designers to reach good quality and variety of products in such complex.
In addition to PDC building, Melrose Avenue is the place to walk and view the exquisite taste of design stores and furniture showrooms. It is possible to find any product in any style. For sure, they are all reflecting the fine taste of LA style. The most enjoyable part was the most of the showrooms presenting product line had made a good mix by the artist’ s artworks, product designs and installations. So it is fun to view the variety of artists works mixed by the product lines. The Melrose Project, Ralph Pucci and Thomas Lanvin in that sense I must say was the most impressive showrooms which I ve visited.
Out of many pictures I ve taken I m only posting some of them. I hope u like them as much as I did….
