First of all, I hope you had a great Christmas and wonderful New Year Eve and will have a wonderful 2013 full of inspirations, discovery, aesthetic, beauty, lots of travel. While writing my first blog of the year about my trip to London I m wishing myself to make another trip to London in 2013 again.
There are some cities in the world that I can have never enough of them and wish to go back. London is like that for me. When I was discovering around and walking on the packed streets, I observe in every other corner the city was full of light and color. Streets and stores were all decorated in the most elegant and fun way to be in tune with the season spirit. I was so lucky to be there on the perfect time of the year. In a city like London, where all the creative brands get together, it is easy to turn to be a shopping monster great products and lovely store set ups right before Christmas. But my focus was on something else this time, so I stopped myself as much as I can. There is a famous Turkish phrase saying “Do not eat, but rest next to eat”. So I did that and took some pleasurable store photo shoots capturing some wonderful window displays and in store styling instead.
