This year, Dutch Designers Daphna Isaacs and Lauren Manders graduates of the Design Academy Eindhowen won the award of best Domestic design of Wallpaper Magazine by their product group called Tafelstukken.
The pieces combining lamps and containers are produced by designers at their Eindhoven-based workshop.
It is announced by Wallpaper jury that the quality of the product, the color palette used on the design, detailing and tactility are considered the main features which caused the product to be selected as the best domestic product design of the 2011.
The lambs have ceramic and oak components. The ceramic parts a are dyed with pigment, sanded back and oiled to give a matte finish.
The functional lighting product called Tafelstukken can be used as a container to highlight everyday product. The product also functions as side table.
A limited edition of 15 lights with storage bowls and shelves, available in five different designs. The same products were also shown at Dutch Design Week in 2009 and were one of the winning projects at the DMY awards, announced in Berlin in 2010.
