Franschhoek is  a magnificent Wine valley of the South Africa lies at the heart of the Cape Vineland. The magical village pays homage to its 17th Century Huguenot Origins, capturing the essence of French food, wine culture and French provincial style in a quintessential African way. The city and the people are very welcoming so the houses. The locals do have artistic taste of  life and it is visable all around the city. Galleries home artistic talents and quality artwork. There are many charming  1-2 story buildings used as Guest houses. The real families live their daily lives while accommodating guests and even cook for them. It becomes a family environment and soon feels like home.  I never wanted to leave there and might go back again!!
