Maison and Objet 2012 / A cheerful creative meeting point

There are some fairs and events which are very important to feel  the pulse of the design world. I think  Maison & Objet is one of them.  It is not only an industrial fair mainly for sourcing furniture and objects, it is a creative and artistic meeting point for  professionals who are seeking for inspiration for their brands and/or designs.

Even though, I could not visit the fair  this year, thanks to cyber world and friends, I have gathered some photos from Maison & Objet Paris 2012  and Design Sites which I found interesting. As far as I see, there is a boundless  freedom  in terms of using  materials, textures, scales and shapes. To design a space is rather a game   full of surprises and a transformation and not a result. After all, isn’ t it the challenge of creating?

I just loved the art’keting concept of this year’s Maison & Objet. Time to consider interior design as part of art world now!
